CLAUSEN PARK RENOVATION PROJECT
The St. Ansgar Park Board is currently planning a renovation project for Clausen Park. Clausen Park is a main-stay in our town- filling an entire city block. It is comprised of shelter houses, a gazebo, modern restroom facilities, play equipment, and green space for children to play. Because the park is kid friendly, there are many children that play there daily and use all aspects of the park.
Currently, the St Ansgar Park Board is updating the old equipment (some of which is dated prior to 1985) and making the playground ADA compliant (handicap accessible). The breakdown of the project is as follows:
Donations to the project can be sent to St. Ansgar City Hall PO Box 307 St. Ansgar IA 50472, Dropped off at City Hall 111 S. Mitchell (drop box available after hours) or on line here by clicking the make payment button and select donation.

Today the gardens are under the direction and financial support of the St. Ansgar Park, Beautification and Recreation Board.
