The St. Ansgar Acorn Park Golf Course is looking to hire a reliable, energetic, friendly individual for the position of a Clubhouse Manager.  The clubhouse manager is responsible for all clubhouse operations and activities. Duties include but are not limited to supervision of all food and beverage operations, bartending, hiring, and scheduling bartenders, ordering of beverages, meal planning and purchase of menu items, ordering golf merchandise, maintaining positive relationships between all Acorn Park employees, assisting all golfers and customers with positive customer service, assisting with tournament operations, directing upkeep of the clubhouse facility and other miscellaneous duties.  The clubhouse manager must be available to work evenings and weekends, depending on schedule and activities. Must be 21 to apply.

 

Acorn Park has added a beautiful deck and patio area for outdoor seating, along with a resurfaced parking lot. The Acorn Golf Course Board wants to make this a year-round position with the busy time being from April to October and limited hours November to May. Acorn would be a beautiful venue for holiday parties. With year-round employment the employee would qualify for IPERS. Wage will depend on experience.

The St. Ansgar Aquatic Center will be accepting applications for  Lifeguards for the 2024 season.

 

Lifeguards must be at least 15 years of age and able to obtain certification.

 (The Aquatic Center will cover the cost of certification if employee completes the season .)

Starting wage increased to $10.00 and also anyone working 20 hrs. or more a week will receive a $10 bonus.

These positions are not just for teens!!  Adults with some extra time

The City of St. Ansgar is accepting applications for seasonal employees for lawn care of the city cemetery, parks, ball diamonds, and other city locations.  Must be willing to operate both a riding and push mower and operate a weed eater. 

 Applicant must be 18 years of age.
